Hailey's art journey
As early as age 6, Hailey has stepped into the world of Chinese hard-pen calligraphy and she LOVED the art very much. She participated in many competitions to hone her skills, and that laid a sound foundation that made what she is today.
While she was still in university in 2016, she happened to know "Western calligraphy" and was so into it.
She then had her first lesson on Copperplate, spending hours and hours practising, an amount of hours everyone wouldn't imagine.
In the meanwhile, she started sharing her work on social media.
Very grateful and honoured, she received many opportunities from audiences and corporates along the pathway. It was wonderful that she turned her passion into a business.
In 2021, she had her first studio set up, with the aim to share the beautiful centuries art to the public from inside out with every single skills she knows.
Specialising in both Chinese and Western calligraphy, she also loves blending the beauty of each into her writings and creations.
Writing Chinese with Western nib and gold ink on wedding invitations is one of her compelling creations. It has wowed everyone with the embossed-like printing effect.
